South African DJ and producer Shimza, Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and Brazilian DJ and producer Alok, under his experimental SOMETHING ELSE alias, team up on ‘All The People’, a new single released on Friday 6th November 2026 via Helix Records. The track brings together Afro House, Afrobeats and Brazilian electronic music, built around a vocal-led production that connects the three artists’ different musical backgrounds.

‘All The People’ is produced by Norwegian duo Stargate, known for their work with Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Ne-Yo, alongside British producer Shift K3Y, who previously worked with Shimza on ‘Fire Fire’. The release follows Shimza’s collaboration with AR/CO and Kasango, which has surpassed 200 million global streams, alongside more than 430 million social media views.

The single arrives after a busy year for Shimza, with highlights including his debut residency at Pacha Ibiza, a sold-out headline show at London’s Roundhouse and appearances at Coachella, Tomorrowland, Awakenings and Ultra South Africa. Ayra Starr, meanwhile, has surpassed 7 billion global streams and recently released her third studio album, ‘Starrgirl’, ahead of a 20-date world tour scheduled to begin in January 2027.

For Alok, ‘All The People’ is another chapter in SOMETHING ELSE, an experimental project drawing inspiration from his Brazilian psytrance roots and the culture surrounding Universo Paralello. The alias has previously released tracks including ‘Miçanga’ and ‘I Wonder If You Know’.
