Black Coffee will return to Hï Ibiza in 2026, confirming the continuation of one of the island’s most established Saturday night residencies. From 2nd May to 3rd October, the South African DJ and producer will once again lead the weekly programmed at the club, marking his eighth consecutive season as a resident and renewing a collaboration that has become central to Ibiza’s contemporary electronic music landscape.

Black Coffees partnership with Hï Ibiza dates back to 2017, the venue’s opening year. Since then, both artist and club have developed in parallel, with the residency evolving into a reference point for Afro House and globally influenced electronic music. The return for 2026 reinforces the long-term vision shared between the artist and the club, which has been voted the world’s number one club by DJ Mag readers since 2022.

Black Coffee remains one of the most influential figures in modern electronic music. His sound combines African musical heritage with a refined, international club sensibility, contributing significantly to the global recognition of Afro House. In 2021, he became the first African artist to win the GRAMMY® Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album with Subconsciously”, further consolidating his international profile. Black Coffees career extends well beyond the club circuit. He has collaborated with artists including Alicia Keys, Usher, Pharrell Williams and Drake, and has performed at major venues and festivals worldwide. His creative output also includes projects in fashion, design and entrepreneurship, alongside appearances on platforms such as NPR Tiny Desk, Cercle and international television.

Black Coffee’s Saturdays at Hï Ibiza are characterized by a strong connection between music, atmosphere and visual identity. Over the years, the residency has developed a recognizable aesthetic rooted in Afropolitan culture, where tradition and contemporary expression coexist. The Theatre at Hï Ibiza becomes the focal point of this experience, hosting extended sets designed to prioritise musical narrative and emotional progression. Black Coffee also integrates broader cultural and social values into his work. Through the Black Coffee Foundation, he supports educational initiatives and inclusion projects, including the development of a music school in South Africa. In 2025, Billboard recognized his wider impact by naming him African Power Player of the Year, acknowledging his role in expanding African cultural presence on the global stage.

Black Coffee’s residency will return in 2026 with updated production elements, new visual concepts and a refreshed creative direction. Hï Ibiza has confirmed that the season will feature a curated selection of international electronic artists, maintaining Saturdays as a key destination within the island’s summer calendar.
