Desert Bloom Festival will take place on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October 2026 at Ong Jmal, near Tozeur in southern Tunisia, bringing electronic music to the landscapes of the Sahara. Set among the region’s dunes, the festival combines DJ performances with light installations and visual art, with programming running from sunset into the evening.
The line-up features Francis Mercier and Mahmut Orhan as headliners. The Haitian-American DJ and producer, founder of Deep Root Records, has helped bring Afro house and African-inspired sounds to international dancefloors. Turkish DJ and producer Mahmut Orhan is known for blending electronic music with deep house and influences from different musical traditions, including Middle Eastern sounds.
With its open-air setting and the distinctive landscape of Ong Jmal, Desert Bloom places electronic music at the centre of a programme connecting sound, visual culture and the natural surroundings of southern Tunisia.
