Balcony Mix Africa, the platform created by South African duo Major League DJz, returns to Namibia on Saturday 17 October 2026, with the next edition taking place at Wanderers Sports Grounds in Windhoek. The date follows a strong reception to the project’s previous visit and marks another stop in the international expansion of a format built around African dance music and culture.

Created by twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere, Major League DJz have developed Balcony Mix Africa into one of their key platforms for showcasing African sounds to audiences both on the continent and internationally. The project has grown alongside the duo’s own presence in the global Afro House and Amapiano scenes, connecting African dance music with audiences in different territories.

Their 2026 calendar has also included a new Ibiza chapter. Major League DJz launched Echoes of Tomorrow, their 21-week residency at Chinois Ibiza, on Friday 29 May, hosting every Friday through Friday 9 October. The residency has featured a rotating selection of international guests while keeping Afro House and African-influenced sounds at its centre.

The duo will then head to Amsterdam for Amsterdam Dance Event, where they are scheduled to present Echoes of Tomorrowat Jimmy Woo on Friday 23 October, with the event running from 11pm until 5am.

Back in Africa, Balcony Mix Africa Namibia takes place on Saturday 17 October, from 12pm to 10pm, while the next currently announced African date is Saturday 5 December, when Balcony Mix Africa returns to Johannesburg’s Huddle Park.

From Windhoek to Ibiza and Amsterdam, the coming weeks therefore underline the international reach of Major League DJz and Balcony Mix Africa, while keeping African dance music at the centre of the project.
