MOGA Festival returns to Essaouira, Morocco, from September 30 to October 4, 2026, celebrating its 10th edition in the Atlantic city where it was born. Created in 2016, MOGA has grown from a Moroccan electronic music festival into an international platform connecting artists, audiences and local cultures across different Atlantic destinations.
The anniversary edition brings together international names including Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, ANOTR, Rhadoo, Sonja Moonear, Fantastic Man, Fort Romeau and Viken Arman, alongside a strong presence of Moroccan artists such as Amine K, Daox, Doudou MD, Othman Kabbadj, Jilali and YAYA (MA). The programme reflects MOGA’s original identity: contemporary electronic music meeting Essaouira’s long musical and cultural heritage.
Essaouira is now one of three destinations in the MOGA network. In Portugal, MOGA Caparica has established itself as the festival’s European chapter, with its next edition scheduled for June 2–6, 2027. The Portuguese edition extends MOGA’s Moroccan roots beyond North Africa while maintaining its focus on electronic music and coastal culture.
The next step will be Brazil. MOGA has announced the launch of MOGA Bahia in November 2027, extending its Atlantic route to Brazil and adding a new destination where electronic music will meet local culture and Bahia’s musical heritage. From Essaouira to Caparica and now Bahia, MOGA is developing a network of destinations connected by music and the Atlantic.
