ULTRA South Africa reveals the full lineup for its 10th anniversary, taking place at The Ostrich in Cape Town on Friday, May 9th, 2025, and at the Expo Centre at Nasrec in Johannesburg on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. The festival’s milestone celebration is slated to be the most electrifying edition yet with international superstars and some of the finest regional talent.
The festival will feature Main Stage headliners such as Dutch electronic music luminary Armin van Buuren, hard trap virtuoso ISOxo, and genre-defying songwriter/DJ/producer KSHMR. ULTRA South Africa will also welcome back Martin Garrix, who performed at the inaugural edition in 2014. ULTRA South Africa’s RESISTANCE Stage will feature a world-class roster of underground headliners such as melodic techno maestro Massano, Italian brother duo Mind Against, and a performance in Johannesburg from South African legend Shimza.
In addition to the star-studded roster of headliners, ULTRA South Africa will feature support acts such as Gil Glaze, Culoe de Song, Da Capo, DBN GOGO, DJ Lag, Dlala Thukzin, Fiona Kraft, Herdroom, Kabza de Small, Maphorisa, Mörda, Oscar Mbo, Sona, Vigro Deep, and many more.
In Johannesburg, ULTRA South Africa will feature two additional stages The Groove Room and The Clubhouse. For lovers of amapiano and afro beats, The Groove Room will host South Africa’s brightest talents including Kabza De Small, Maphorisa, DBN GOGO, Dlala Thukzin, Oscar Mbo, DJ Lag, 2wo Bunnies, Mörda, Thakzin, Vigro Deep, Omagoqa, Lelowhatsgood, and more. The Clubhouse Stage will be an intimate space for boundary-pushing beats and underground sounds with artists such as Jevan Binder, Shamiso, Da Capo, Kasango, Mpho.Wav, Darque, Tristan Urwin, A.ND, Son of Dennis, and Buhle.
