“Beniras” is his new track, out July 2025 on My Other Side of the Moon.

Who and what inspired you to become a DJ?
Growing up, I was deeply inspired by the French Touch movement artists like Daft Punk, Cassius, Justice, and Laurent Garnier really opened my eyes to the power of electronic music. Daft Punk, in particular, was a huge influence. Their ability to blend house, funk, and futuristic sounds created something timeless and truly emotional. They made electronic music feel human. That sound, that energy, that elegance it made me want to dive into DJing and music production myself, to create something that connects people on the dancefloor the way they did.

Which kind of music did you listen to when you were a teenager?
I grew up surrounded by the music my parents used to play at home, so my early influences were quite eclectic. They listened to everything from French variété to disco-funk, slow jams, and jazz. It gave me a deep appreciation for melody, groove, and emotion elements that I still try to bring into my own music today. Even as a teenager, I kept that open-mindedness and curiosity for different genres. I think that mix of sounds really shaped the way I approach music now, both as a DJ and a producer

And now?
Today, I still listen to a wide range of music. Of course, I stay connected to electronic music house, afro house, deep tech but I also draw a lot of inspiration from soul, gospel, R&B, and even cinematic music. I love discovering new textures and emotions that I can bring into my productions or sets. Music is constantly evolving, and I like keeping my ears open to stay inspired and push my sound forward.

Which platform do you use to listen to music?
Mainly Spotify. For me, it’s by far the most complete platform not just for listeners, but also for artists. It gives a real overview of an artist’s world, with albums, singles, live versions, bios, visuals, and even links to concerts and merch. I love how easy it is to explore different genres and discover new artists through personalized playlists and algorithms. It’s definitely the one I use the most, both for inspiration and daily listening.

Why is Africa becoming so important in the electronic music scene?
Africa has always been a land of rhythm, soul, and deep musical heritage. The rise of Afro House, Amapiano, and other Africa-influenced electronic genres has brought a powerful new energy to the global scene. There’s something raw, emotional, and deeply human in these sounds they reconnect us to the very roots of music. What’s even more exciting is the new wave of African producers and DJs who are pushing boundaries with true authenticity and creativity. Africa isn’t a trend, it’s a movement. One that continues to shape the future of music, and is now making a profound mark on the world of electronic sound.

Your favourite DJs and producers?
I’m drawn to artists who manage to create a real universe around their sound those who go beyond the music and bring a full experience, whether it’s through their visuals, storytelling, or energy on stage. I love producers who blend organic elements with electronic textures, who aren’t afraid to break boundaries or explore emotion in unexpected ways. What touches me the most is authenticity

Your favorite clubs and festivals?
What I love most are the places and events where the vibe is truly unique — where people come not just to party, but to share something deeper through music. I’m drawn to clubs with a strong identity, great sound systems, and a crowd that’s open and connected. When it comes to festivals, I really appreciate those that mix nature, culture, and music — places where you can fully disconnect from everyday life and dive into an immersive experience. For me, it’s all about the energy and the feeling you leave with.

The most important record in your box?
If I had to name one, it would probably be ‘One More Time’ by Daft Punk. It’s more than just a track it’s a celebration, a collective memory, a piece of music history. No matter when or where it’s played, it brings people together instantly. There’s something incredibly emotional and unifying about it. For me, it represents the essence of the French touch and the power of electronic music to create joy and connection on the dancefloor.

Your all-time favourite track?
‘I Will Always Love You’ by Whitney Houston. It’s one of those songs that hits you right in the heart, no matter how many times you’ve heard it. Her voice, the emotion, the build-up. That track is timeless. It reminds me how powerful a single vocal performance can be, and how music can carry both strength and vulnerability in the same breath. It’s a masterpiece.

Your favourite food / actor / football team / TV series?
A good truffle pizza such a delight! It’s definitely one of my guilty pleasures. As for actors, I’d say Denzel Washington. He’s got incredible presence and charisma, and his filmography is so rich and diverse he really nails every role, no matter the genre. I’m not really into football, but from a distance, I support PSG hometown pride! And when it comes to TV shows, Suits is hands down the best. I could watch it on repeat and never get tired of it.

Your hobbies?
I’m a big fan of martial arts and UFC, I’ve been into it since I was a kid. I practiced judo from the age of 5 until I was 20. I love the discipline, the mindset, the intensity. It’s not just a combat sport it’s above all about respect and pushing your limits. I also give a lot of importance to taking time for myself. Whether it’s disconnecting or simply enjoying a quiet moment, it really helps me recharge and stay creative.

Your upcoming projects and labels?
I’m currently working hard on several things creatively and professionally. It’s an exciting time, but I prefer to keep a bit of mystery for now. All I can say is: stay tuned, some beautiful things are coming.

Why did you select My Other Side of The Moon for your upcoming release?
Because it felt like the perfect match. My Other Side of The Moon has a deep understanding of Afro House and a real passion for pushing the genre forward while staying authentic. I love their artistic direction, the energy behind the label, and the way they support their artists. Releasing with them just made sense, it’s a great home for this track, and I’m truly excited about what’s coming.

Your lifelong dream?
To keep creating music that touches people all around the world, emotionally and on the dancefloor. I want to travel through my art, share powerful moments, and build something that lasts. The dream is to stay true to myself while connecting with more and more hearts along the way.
