December 2025, Friday 19th: electronic music legend Tiësto will perform an exclusive DJ set at one of the most iconic locations on the planet: the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. The Dutch superstar will headline a unique open-air event set against the dramatic backdrop of the ancient monuments, combining millennia of history with the sound of modern electronic music. The show will take place at the Giza Plateau, just outside Cairo, transforming the historic site into a spectacular dancefloor for one night only. Doors are scheduled to open at 6:00 PM local time (GMT+2), with Tiësto expected to perform a three-hour set spanning his extensive career, from timeless anthems to new material.
The Giza performance arrives during a particularly important creative phase for Tiësto. After years of experimenting with mainstream EDM, house and pop-leaning productions, the artist has recently signaled a return to trance, the genre that first established his global reputation. His latest single “Bring Me To Life” (Musical Freedom / Atlantic Records) released in recent weeks, embraces melodic progressions, emotional breakdowns and atmospheric synth work, clearly reconnecting with his classic sound.
